Cops for body-doubles? Director Rajamouli who is presently working on his much-talked epic drama Bahubali is seriously worried about his actors’ safety. As it is a period film there will be war scenes, and the actors have to perform several spine-chilling stunts on horses.
During one such sequence actor Rana suffered minor injuries, and the doctor had stated that the actor in fact was lucky to escape with minor damage else such a fall could normally result in 6-7 fractures!
Now, this has caused serious jitters for the filmmaker and any accident or injury to any of the actor means drastic change/huge delay in shooting schedule.
And, so as a precautionary measure the director is hiring cops as body-doubles for his actors, as they are well-trained in horse riding. Interestingly, Rajamouli did not have any problem whatsoever with horses while shooting Magadheera as Ram Charan is well-versed in horse riding.
The police personnel have come to the rescue of the director and the actors on the sets of Bahubali and they will be doing some of the action scenes for the film as body-doubles.
