Prabhas refutes accident rumours

Young Rebel Star Prabhas is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Baahubali’. Today, some rumours started circulating on social networks about an accident on the sets of ‘Baahubali’. However, nothing of that sort has happened.

Prabhas refuted the rumours via his official Facebook Page. “Rumours of me having an accident while shooting for Baahubali in kerala are not true. I am perfectly fine and shootingis going on smoothly in Kerala. Thanks to all my fans and well wishers for the love and concern.”, he posted.

Ace director S.S.Rajamouli is the director of this movie and Arka Media banner is producing the film with a big budget. ‘Baahubali’ will hit the screens in 2015.

2000 artists roped for "Baahubali" battle sequence

Here is the surprising news about Prabhas starrer Baahubali. The magnum opus is on its way of journey and it is heard that director S S Rajamouli is not compromising on anything.till now we have heard about the hard trainings and efforts that was shown by the artists and here is the most shocking one .

Now, news is that the director is planning for a crucial battle scene in the movie will require over 2,000 junior artistes alongside the lead actors. This action sequence is said to be ten times effective than 100 men fight of Maghadheera movie.The mammoth war sequence will be canned at  Kerala schedule and this would involve nearly 2000 junior artists with horses and swords.

Buzz is that all of them have been given special training and the entire action sequence is being choreographed by Peter Heins .The makers have asked the artistes and the lead actors to attend workshops for six months to prepare for the scene

Rajamouli brings giant villain for Prabhas

The film ‘Bahubali’ is touching the sky in terms of expectations and director Rajamouli is also ensuring that only the best must be included in this costliest film ever made. Till now, there was news that Daggubati Rana is doing the negative role and he will be fighting against Prabhas the hero in the film.
But here is another update. It is heard that Rajamouli is bringing another giant villain to take Prabhas. Chennai Express Villain fight with Prabhas in Baahubali

Nikitin Dheer who shot to fame with Shahrukh Khan's blockbuster 'Chennai Express' has been roped for the magnum opus 'Bahubali'. He played the role of main antagonist 'Tangaballi' inthe Hindi movie. Earlier, he was part of successful films like Jodha Akbar, Ready and Dabangg 2.

Rajamouli seems to be very impressed with Nikitin's towering personality and decent acting skills. The master craftsman hasn't taken much time to zero in on this well-built actor for a negative role which is very crucial for the movie.

Sources say, Tamil actor Satyaraj who was playing a key role in 'Bahubali' insisted on casting Nikitin Dheer for the role. Rajamouli too believed that Nikitin would be a good choice to fight a six-feet hero like Prabhas who is playing the title role.

Bahubali flies to China?

It is known that Mega director SS Rajamouli is contemplating on taking his Bahubali across the globe. To this effect, Bahubali remake rights in Chinese have been sold already.

The team wrapped up its first schedule shoot wherein some sequences were canned at Kurnool and the next schedule to begin from August 12th.

The director’s blockbuster ‘Eega’ was received superbly at the Shanghai Film Festival, and the distributors of China knew the worth of Rajamouli’s works then and there.

That’s what prompted Sobhu Yarlagadda, one of the producers of ‘Baahubali’ to look for a trading opportunity with Chinese. The dubbing rights were sold in Chinese and Rajamouli apparently becomes the first Tollywood to have explored an entirely new business domain for Telugu cinema.

Prabhas, Anushka and Rana are the main cast for ‘Baahubali.’ The movie is being produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner of Arka Media Works. National award winner Sabu Cyril is the art director and soundtracks are being composed by MM Keeravani.

Prabhas Doing Multi Starrer ??

When Prabhas agreed to do ‘Bahubali’ he was expected to dedicate two years for the film which disappointed many fans of his. They felt he would not be seen onscreen till that time. But Prabhas gave them relief when he mentioned that he would be doing another film before that for his uncle Krishnamraju. 

Now, it is heard that this film happens to be a multi-starrer. Tentatively titled as ‘Okka Adugu’ the film is currently going through the script work and Prabhas is reportedly taking a lot of interest in it. Meanwhile, the other report is that this is actually a multi-starrer because it has Nara Rohith, Sharwanand doing important roles. 

Whether it is an action entertainer or family entertainer with comedy is not sure but it is heard that Krishnamraju wants to make this film a prestigious one. Though Rohith and Sharwa are not high range heroes they have good presence so it will be nice to see this multi-starrer coming up. 

Cops as dupes in Bahubali

Cops for body-doubles? Director Rajamouli who is presently working on his much-talked epic drama Bahubali is seriously worried about his actors’ safety. As it is a period film there will be war scenes, and the actors have to perform several spine-chilling stunts on horses.

During one such sequence actor Rana suffered minor injuries, and the doctor had stated that the actor in fact was lucky to escape with minor damage else such a fall could normally result in 6-7 fractures!

Now, this has caused serious jitters for the filmmaker and any accident or injury to any of the actor means drastic change/huge delay in shooting schedule.

And, so as a precautionary measure the director is hiring cops as body-doubles for his actors, as they are well-trained in horse riding. Interestingly, Rajamouli did not have any problem whatsoever with horses while shooting Magadheera as Ram Charan is well-versed in horse riding.

The police personnel have come to the rescue of the director and the actors on the sets of Bahubali and they will be doing some of the action scenes for the film as body-doubles.

John Abraham to step into Prabhas shoes

Young Rebel Star Prabhas starrer Mirchi directed by writer Koratala Siva which has turned out to be a huge hit at the box-office will soon be remade in Hindi.

John Abraham will step into the shoes of Prabhas for the Hindi version. The Bollywood hunk, who is also a producer, has acquired the remake rights of the film from Telugu producers Vamsi and Pramod Uppalapati of UV Creations productions.

Prabhas’s characterization in the film was well-accepted and he was appreciated for his dashing looks in the movie now John Abraham will reprise his role in Hindi. Other details of the cast and crew of the film are to be finalized.

Eega villain in Bahubali

The remorseless villain in the movie Eega has joined the team of Prabhas starrer Bahubali. Yes, director Rajamouli has roped in Kannada superstar Sudeep to be a part of the film's cast.
